Laundry room

The laundry room is at Skagafjordsgatan 11. Apartments 521–764 have access.

• Your booking is valid for 30 minutes from the start time. After that, anyone can use the machines until the next slot.
• Do not wash rugs, shoes, underwired bras or textiles that pets have used. Many neighbours have allergies.
• Do not lend the laundry room to people outside the cooperative.

Waste and recycling

• Waste station in the courtyard by Oddegatan: household waste, cardboard, newspapers, paper packaging and plastic.
• Surtsögatan 4: clear and coloured glass, metal and household waste.
• Bulky waste, electronics, paint and furniture: take it to a recycling centre, for example Bromma or Hagby in Sollentuna. See stockholm.se for more.

Do not leave anything outside the bins. The cooperative will charge you for removal.

Garage and parking

• You have the right to your numbered space if you have a valid contract, have paid the rent and display a valid permit.
• Without a visible permit, the parking company issues a fine.
• A replacement permit costs SEK 500. Order it from the board.
• Do not store tyres, tools, liquids or packaging in the garage, including in your own space.

Basement storage and bike room

• Keep your things inside your own storage cage. The corridors are escape routes from the garage.
• Do not store flammable liquids or food in the storage area.
• The bike room is for bicycles only.

Stairwell and entrance

Do not leave prams, plants, rugs, boxes or rubbish in the stairwell. Escape routes must stay clear. Items left behind are removed at your cost. Check that the front door locks behind you.

Balcony

• No barbecues. Do not shake rugs or bedding from the balcony.
• Hang flower boxes on the inside of the railing.
• Glazing and awnings need a building permit and the cooperative's approval.
• Avoid smoking on the balcony. The smoke enters neighbours' ventilation.

Courtyard and mailbox

We share the courtyard and inner garage with Brf Ravalen. Order a name sign for your mailbox from HSB. Home-made signs are not allowed.

Renovations and changes

Minor changes such as new floors, cabinets and appliances need no approval. Apply to the board before you:

• renovate a bathroom or change the waterproofing or floor drain
• alter load-bearing walls
• change water, drain, heating or gas pipes
• replace your front door (colour and finish must match the original)
• install a satellite dish, awning or heat pump

The ventilation system (FTX) belongs to the cooperative. Do not modify it. Send applications to styrelsen@brfskagagard.se.

Insurance and smoke alarm

You must have home insurance with a tenant-owner supplement (bostadsrättstillägg). Test your smoke alarm at least twice a year and change the battery when needed.
